La Pouquelaye de Faldouet
La Pouquelaye de Faldouet
A 6000 year old Neolithic passage grave with a double chamber:
a large open chamber surrounded by a series of small stone cists
and the end chamber with a massive 24-ton capstone.
Human remains were found in the cists when it was excavated in 1910.
In the chamber two stone pendants, two polished stone axes and some pottery vessels were found.
