WA5308 : Burhou from Alderney

Burhou from Alderney
Burhou from Alderney
Burhou is a small flat island lying north-west of Alderney. It is an important breeding site for both Puffins and Storm Petrels, though these have declined in recent years. The Alderney Wildlife Trust has installed webcams (LinkExternal link ) so that you can see the Puffins by day and the Petrels by night. Note that these webcams are only live during the breeding season!
